Some materials retain residual magnetism if exposed to magnetic fields – the amount depends on the workpiece size and the type of material. To remove this undesirable residual magnetism, the object must be exposed to an alternating magnetic field, which eliminates the magnetism to the lowest possible value. If there are large components or workpieces, it is possible to use the lightweight HD handheld demagnetizer, which is operated easily and is portable. We offer two models of the handheld demagnetizer depending on the thickness and dimensions of the workpiece to be demagnetized. HD1 is intended for smaller and thinner components, and HD2 is for larger and thicker workpieces or tools.
